My Name Is Cassandra Mikell,and I wanted to start a Blog to Show my Support for President Barack Obama and his Journey to Election Day 2012.
On May 2,2012 a Grand Opening Took Place.There were Many People There;Some Old,Some Young and Some Folks that were in Between.Everyone there Had 1 Goal & 1 Goal Only.Obama,Obama....And Did I Mention OBAMA!!!!!The New Office that was Opening That Day will be the New Grounds 4 Obama Supporters&Volunteers.
People from all Backgrounds,Races&Greed came together as 1 to support President Barack Obama in his FIGHT to Re-Take Office on November 6,2012.
I Had the Pleasure of Meeting The Volunteers&Group Leaders of the West Philadelphia Obama Campaign Office Located on 52 & Walnut Street.I was Amazed to see the Partnership&Respect these people had with each other.The bond that was starting to build can`t be measured in anyway.I met with so many Positive Figures that I wanted to become a Volunteer That Day.Even though,I have previous experience in this field,I wanted to become apart of a "Greater Good".Meaning,I wanted to become apart of a organization that will Uplift&Encourage the Community to Actually STAND UP and Let There voices be heard threw Canvassing,Phone Banking and other Volunteer Duties that is Available.
Having The Opportunity to be in the same room as City Officials walked in the Door just showed me that I was" In The Right Place at The Right Time".
So The Journey Begins.And who says that it will be easy.It will Be a Tough Fight,But at he End of the Day...I will Recite......."YES WE CAN"and WE WILL
